Lisa – Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant

Lisa is a wife, mother of two boys and a registered nurse. She worked previously as a veterinary assistant for 9 years and as a zoo keeper at the Greater Vancouver Zoo before returning to school to obtain her RN degree. After several years of Public Health Nursing Lisa decided to follow her heart and return to work in a Veterinary practise.

Lisa also shows and breeds Standard Wirehaired Dachshunds under the kennel name Cahladen. She is a CKC registered Breeder and is very proud of her dog Tenasen who became Canada’s #1 Standard Wirehaired Dachshund and #11 Hound in Canada overall for 2013. Her favourite hobby is working with her dogs and competing in conformation shows, obedience trials, earth dog and field trials. Her other passions include spending quality time with her family and dogs, camping, fishing and reading a good book.
