Dr. Ben Greenberg

Dr. Ben Greenberg graduated in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 1988, in Turin, Italy. He came to Canada in 1995 joining a practice in Port Alberni where he worked with pets, farm animals and wildlife for 3 years.

Upon his return to the Lower Mainland he worked as an associate, and eventually owner of, The Dear Animal Hospital in Richmond before selling it to allow himself to focus on medicine.

Dr. Greenberg practices both conventional veterinary medicine and surgery and holistic/alternative veterinary medicine combining the two to offer the best of both worlds. Over the years, he has developed a strong interest in dermatology, with emphasis on allergies in pets.

Experienced in public speaking, he has shared his knowledge and expertise with the public through free monthly seminars on a large number of veterinary topics.

He enjoys playing beach volleyball, reading and traveling in his spare time. He lives with his wife Sylvia, his daughter Christie and two adorable kitties (Reggie and Basil) in Langley, BC.
